Hello,
I’m Satoru
— the founder and designer behind cacco.
I started cacco in Berlin as a way to explore shapes, materials, and ideas without fixed definitions. I design every piece myself, working with 3D tools and finishing each piece by hand.
Most of my jewellery is made from cornstarch-based bioplastic, combined with sterling silver and gold-plated silver.
I grew up in Japan and later lived and worked in France, China, and Germany. My background is in experimental fashion design rather than traditional jewellery making, which strongly influences how I approach form, material, and process.
cacco is a slow, independent practice. Pieces are made in small quantities, shaped through constant experimentation, and refined through direct contact with people who wear them.
Sustainable Design, Thoughtfully Made
cacco stands for honesty, material awareness, and quiet strength. The jewellery is not meant to follow trends or demand attention, but to exist naturally with the person who wears it — becoming part of their everyday life over time.
Warm regards,
Satoru
